Caribbean Attire: Ideas

A Caribbean cruise is one of the most popular places to sail on the beautiful ocean. There will be plenty of sun, fun, good food, and style. Here are our tried-and-true packing suggestions for a Caribbean cruise. On a cruise, there are numerous exciting activities to choose from during the day. When deciding what to pack for a Caribbean cruise, consider the following travel outfit ideas based on your planned activities. When lounging by the pool or on the beach, wear feminine kaftans over your bikini and flip flops. Cocktails in a cute sundress and stylish sandals. A pair of comfortable shorts and trainers for on-shore excursions such as kayaking, mountain climbing, or trekking. For shopping and sightseeing, wear comfortable shoes and a fun sundress or shorts and a tank top. Because the ship is always air-conditioned, bring a shawl and two layers, such as a button-up top and blazer or a hoodie and light jacket, depending on your style. If you want to lay out on the beach or poolside with plenty of coverage, bring a sarong or beach towel.

You must dress up for Captain’s Dinner; plan to wear a nice cocktail dress with heels, jewelry, make-up, and whatever else makes you feel all dolled up. If cocktail dresses aren’t your thing, you can opt for a long gown or a sophisticated pant suit instead. Plan to dress it up at night with wedges or kitten heels for dinners, drinks, shows, and dancing. Stilettos should be avoided unless you are completely comfortable wearing them on a ship. Flats are acceptable as long as they are not crocs or flip flops. You can eat at the buffet in your shorts, tee, and flip flops on regular dinner nights. If you go to the dining room, dress up casually with a feminine dress and cute flats, or wear jeans, a nice top, and a nice pair of wedges. While you can dress more casually for dinner on regular nights, you still want to look great if you’re going to a club or seeing a show after. It all depends on what you intend to do. Pair your sundresses with wedges, costume jewelry, and a blazer for a simple evening look. From casual to chic!

The ship’s salon also offers hair and makeup services. How glamorous! If you’re traveling with a man, suggest that he bring some nice clothes as well. A pair of shorts and a t-shirt is appropriate for the day. Jeans and a polo or chinos and a button-up are ideal for a regular dinner. He’ll also need a suit for the Captain’s Dinner, which he can easily rent on board. On the cruise ship, everything is expensive. However, if you’re a Prada fan, you can buy designer goods duty free or take advantage of the cruise’s end-of-shipment sales. Also, because things are more expensive on the cruise, bring plenty of toiletries.
